Julia A. Yost
91, of Dayton, Indiana died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community. She was born September 25, 1920, in Sheffield Township to the late John G. and Kathryn R. Frantz Widmer.
On August 22, 1942 she married Kenneth E. Yost. He died on November 5, 2000. Surviving is a daughter, Susan Clawson of Dayton; a son, Tom Yost (wife Candance Lasco) of Indianapolis and a sister, Marian Gould of Green Bay, WI. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William H. Yost; a sister, Dorothy Parr and a brother, Gilbert Widmer.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in Soller-Baker Dayton Chapel , 730 Walnut St., Dayton, IN 47941. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 in Memorial Presbyterian Church, 731 Walnut St. Dayton, IN 47941. A private family burial will be at Dayton Cemetery.
