Lynn and I knew Ken while attending Cleveland Baptist Church in Ohio back in the 80's when Ken was Stationed at the Cleveland Coast Guard post. A highly respected young man with many talents and a joyful demeanor. We were encouraged in our walk with Jesus Christ because of him. And on a funny note, while attending a speech by then Presidential Candidate Ronald Reagan, we found out the difference between conservative and liberal politics which was so aptly put by Ken and his friend Brian Tousley. We watched as Rachel, Joshua, Nathan and Sarah were born and then a bit when we visited them in Arkansas. We are saddened at his early departure, but are encouraged that we shall see him again because of his faith in Christ!

I was a classmate of Ken's at the US Coast Guard Academy. My name also ends in W, so we stood in line together a lot. I always looked up to Ken (literally), and I remember his wry and gentle good humor. I will miss him.

May God's peace be with everyone who misses him.

Ken was a class mate at the Academy. We had rapelling together. I saved his life by doing a proper belay. No big deal, except Ken was a big guy and I wasn't. Thanks to him, I got my only A in PE. But beside that, he always treated the women classmates with respect. I appreciated that. RIP Ken.

I am greatly saddened by the news of Kenneth's death. I was privileged to know and love him years ago at Cabot High School, where he was drum major for the senior band for 3 years. Even then, Kenneth was very smart, funny and talented,. He was well liked and respected by all who knew him. I pray that his family and friend find comfort in the knowledge that he is now forever in the light of the God he served so faithfully.
