Lyle Eaton Obituary
An associate for L.S. Ayers & Co (Macy's) for 50 years at the Glendale Mall, died February 27 at the age of 75. Lyle retired May 5, 2007, after serving the company for three generations of customers. A self taught professional photographer, he captured the beauty of human subjects both domestically and internationally. He enjoyed working with several National Geographic photographers. Lyle's work was displayed in New York, a multitude of universities and locally at the Black Expo for more than a decade.
Survivors include his sons, Landon and Shane Eaton. Shane's wife Jacqueline and their son Logan. A Celebration of Life will be held later this spring at St Luke's Methodist Church, Indianapolis, IN. The date will be shared through family and friends. Lyle chose to donate his remains to IU School of Medicine. Memorial gifts may be sent to: Indiana University School of Medicine, C/O Indiana University Foundation, PO BOX 7072, Indianapolis, IN 46207-7072.

My Dear Friend, Lyle...
I think of you often and talk about you, a lot. I miss your kindness and wonderful nature. I wish you had more time with us here on earth, and I know that you are looking down upon us with that sweet smile.
You brought so much good into the world, and I know you see the light in those of us that you loved so dearly. Thank you for sharing with me how much you love your sons and those they love, for sharing your life's adventures, and for being such a good friend. I pray that our Lord will let me see you in the future, when it is my time.

Lyle was one of the most wonderful people I have known in my life. Our friendship of the last 15 years was full of life, stories, and photography. I will always treasure our me together. I miss you, my friend!
