Marcella E. Roberts
88, of Greenwood, IN passed away on June 17, 2013. She was born on June 8, 1925 to the late William and Florence Hentrup. She was a member of Saints Francis and Clare Catholic Church. Marcella was a graduate of Harbison Township High School, Dubois, IN. She was a retiree of Eli Lilly after 40 years of service, enjoyed dancing with the love of her life, Bob, was a wonderful cook and a beautiful and gracious hostess. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert L. Roberts; 2 children, Bill (Cheryl) Roberts, Regina Westerfield (Michael) Sublette; 3 grandchildren, Damon and Lacie Roberts and Matthew Westerfield; 4 great grandchildren, Alyssa Roberts, Trevor, Scott and Anthony Roberts; 7 siblings, Wilfred Hentrup, Mary Hawley, Doris Gehlhausen, Alice Childers, David Hentrup, Kathy Knies and Patti Brosmer. She was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Leroy Hentrup, Louis Hentrup, Cyrilla Spivy and Donald Hentrup. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home , 1605 South State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m. at Saints Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, IN, with additional visitation at 9 a.m. until Mass. I have fond memories of visits from cousins Marci and Bob. They were the nicest people and so much fun to be around. I'm thinking of Matt and Gina today and I wish God's peace for you and all your family!

My fondest memory of Aunt Marcie is when I was 11 years old, my mother passed away. I was sent to stay with her, uncle Bob and Gina. I was treated like a queen. got new clothes and I can still remember the dress she picked out for me to wear to my mothers funeral. you will be missed, Aunt Marcie!Rest in Peace! your niece, Maria!
