Mark E. Gladson
64, Mooresville, died May 1, 2012. Mr. Gladson was born in Beech Gorve, Indiana, to the late Clarence and Geneva (Viles) Gladson. He graduated from George Washington High School and attended Georgia Southern University. Mark proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the 173rd Airborne Division. He retired in 2007 from Conway Freight as a freight supervisor. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, Dean and Mason. Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene (Hawtin) Gladson. Survivors include his son, Matthew Gladson (Kerri) of McCordsville; brothers, John and Jim Gladson; sister, Pamela Absher; grandsons, Dean and Mason Gladson; a host of nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 4th, 2012, 4 to 7 p.m., at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory , Mooresville.
