Mark Pennington Obituary

Mark A. Pennington 51, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday April 18, 2011 in Lexington, KY. He was born on August 3, 1959 in Greenfield to Albert W. "A.W." and Wanda (Young) Pennington. He was a 1977 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and Founding Member, President and CEO of the Museum of 20th Century Warfare (M20CW). He was also a member of the Confederate Air Force, Special Ramp Services and Plane Captain for the "Iron Lady", an S2F Grumman Tracker; Indianapolis Air Show; North American Fishing Club; and BASS Masters. Mark is survived by his fiancé Marylen Wallace of Indianapolis; his parents; sister Carrie; nephew Donnie and niece Bethany; great-niece Madison; and great-nephew Matthew. Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Graveside funeral services will be held at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville, on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to M20CW, P.O.
