Michael A. Fiwek

Michael A. Fiwek 60, Greenwood, IN, died January 9, 2010 after a long battle with the Alzheimer's Disease. He was born April 5, 1949 in South Bend, to Ervin and Margaret Fiwek, who along with an infant sister, Betty Ann preceded him in death. Mike graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Accounting and later earned his CPA. He was employed by the state of Indiana for 37 years with the State Budget Agency and the State Board of Accounts, with his last position as Deputy State Examiner. Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years Sue; brothers, Don (Gay) of South Bend, Rick (Marilyn) of Aurora, CO, Joe (Elaine) of Elkhart; brother-in-law, Chuck (April) Nemeth of Greenwood; nine beloved nephews and nieces; six great-nephews and nieces. There will be no public visitation, a private memorial service and interment will be held at a later date.
