Paul F. Page
74, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014. He was born to the late Paul J. Page and Mary (Corsaro) Page on November 1, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN. Paul attended Marian College and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1957. He married Judith Ann Evan in June of 1987.
Paul was a Probation Officer in Marion County in the early 60's before being elected Chief Constable of the Center Township Small Claims Court in the latter part of the decade. He took pride in the fact that he "ran against the slate" and won. After his term ended, he reinvented himself as a Sprinkler Systems Engineer for Paulson Fire Protection during the 70's. Eventually, Paul found his true calling and started a career in jewelry sales, taking a job with the Shane Company around 1980. He served as General Manager of Smith Diamond Brokers for several years, eventually working his way up to Regional Manager of the entire Midwest. In 1991, Paul opened Page Jewelers in Southern Plaza on the south side of Indianapolis, eventually closing in 2002. Thereafter, Paul could be found holding court on the weekends in Pauly's Italian Restaurant, an establishment owned by his son. In retirement, Paul worked part-time with his brother, David, selling homes in the residential development known as La Scala Villas.
Paul loved to golf and taught himself how to make his own clubs, often crafting custom clubs for family members and friends. He was well known for his golf attire and his elaborate matching outfits. He always drove a Cadillac, he only drank Lambrusco wine, and he loved the taste of a fine cigar. A stickler about punctuality, you got his "time speech" if you were late for a meeting. As a passionate man, Paul loved his family and friends dearly. He gave respect freely and insisted that it be returned. As a symbol of that respect, a hug and kiss were often required in his presence.
Paul is survived by his wife of 27 years, Judith Ann, his four children: Barbara Page, Kelly Burke (James), David T. Page (Santina), and Paul F. Page, Jr. (Tracy); his four step-children: David Carr (Wendi), Kevin Carr (Elaine), Ryan Carr (Beth), and Kristin Lang (Troy). Paul was preceded in death by his older brother Peter J. Page (Sharon), and is survived by his brother, David J. Page (Rosemary), his sisters, Marie Pittman-Oechsle and Antoinette Dullaghan (Richard), his many nieces and nephews, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Paul, David and the rest of the Page and Cosaro families. As soon as I read of Paul's passing my mind shot back to his store in downtown Indy. That is where we met and he immediately impressed me as a man of style, integrity, and love of people. There wasn't anything phoney about the man, he was a true gentleman, a class act....just like every other Page or Cosaro I have met. may the closeness of your families help you through this difficult time...Dio benedetto.

I met Mr. Page in the summer of '82. I was a new friend of David's and he invited me over. I was asleep on the the couch when Mr. Page walked in from a night out on the town and said "who the hell are you and what are you doing on my couch!". I had total respect for him from that moment forward. Mr. Page always shot straight with me even if I did not want to hear it, much like my father. However, I always knew he would give me the shirt off his back if I needed help. God bless the Page family and I am truly sorry for your loss.

Paul was like a father to me when I worked at Pauly's Italian Bistro. I was never treated like an employee. I was treated like family. He did so much for me and my son during that time and we always had Lambrusco in the cooler especially for him. My thoughts are with you all during this time. I haven't seen the family in such a long time but you have never been out of my thoughts or prayers. I love you all.
