Raymond Warren Obituary

Raymond E. "Ray" Warren 65, of Indianapolis, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Methodist Hospital. Mr. Warren was a graduate of I.S.B.V.I. in Indianapolis and received an Associates Degree in Electronics from Valparaiso University. He operated Ray's Piano Service since 1964 in Indianapolis providing service tuning, repairing, and moving pianos throughout the state. He was a member of Keystone Christian Church, ICE and Piano Tuners Guild. Memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 7725 N. College Avenue, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 23 in Myers Mortuary, Lebanon, with visitation there from 1 p.m. until the service. Interment will follow in Cox Cemetery, near Thorntown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Keystone Christian Church, 2525 East 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220 or to the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 7725 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46240. Survivors include wife, Jackie L. Warren, Indianapolis; mother, Florence L. Warren, Indianapolis; nephew like a son, Christopher S. Stanley, M.D. and wife, Candace, Lexington, KY; sister, Sharon I. Landis and husband, Harold, Charleston, S.C. His father Harold R. Warren; two brothers, Carl D. Warren, Walter Michael Warren and sister, Patsy Warren, preceded him in death.
