Richard Gene Phillabaum

Richard Gene Phillabaum 76, Speedway, died May 13, 2004. He owned Dick's Barber Shop, retiring in 1994. Richard was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. He was a member of Brownsburg Church of Christ. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 18 at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 17. Burial: Washington Park North Cemetery. Survivors: wife, Alberta E. (Rieke) Phillabaum; children, Cherri Cauldwell, Linda Maners and Richard Lee Phillabaum; siblings, Ronald Dean and Robert Allen Phillabaum, Roberta Grimes; mother, Orpha (Pully) Phillabaum; grandchildren, Brandon Cauldwell, Kendra Gray, Nathan and Andria Maners, Justin and Jessica Phillabaum; and great grandchildren, Dylan and Ashton Gray. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
