Russ- For me you lived in stories from Britt, Katie, and Barb. You were larger than life and the best father in the world to both of your kids. You were always there for them when they needed you most. That is what defines a Dad. Now I ask that you take care of our Angel, Brycen, your grandson, until we all meet up again. He needs his Dat. We will take care of each other down here and honor you by always remembering to ask ourselves,'What would dad do?". Thank you for sharing a piece your incredible life with me. I am truly blessed, and know our son is in good hands. All our love forever!

Russ, my love, my life, you took my world by storm. I waited my whole life for this perfect fit. We really lived, loved, laughed at danger, laughed at each other, set each other free and held on tight. Nothing will ever be the same in this world because you were here. I love you. I will never forget and never give up. Ruth

Russ , you are the best and most loyal friend i could ever wish for . We go back
so , so long ago , we have experienced the best of times and the worst of times together , these memories are hardwired .
I'll never ever forget you till my time comes . It was an honor to call you "my

Russ was my Field Training Officer. In the years I knew Russ he taught me more about life then I ever learned about law enforcement. I'm sure when God called upon Russ he answered him with “clear direct!” You were one of a kind and the officers you trained, supervised and supported will always remember you!

I knew Russ for many years as I served at the Marion County Sheriff's Department. For most of that time, I had the privilege to support the Reserve Division as an Administrative Assistant. These men and women always amazed me with their dedication. They worked road shifts, jail shifts, drove jail wagons, did all kinds of security for the city of Indianapolis and so many other things...for $5 a year. Russ' laugh is one of the first things that comes to mind. He made a difference with his short life!

On behalf of the Traders Point Hunt, and TPH members we would like to thank Russ for his contributions as a member, and in a TPH staff position of Whipper-in. The Hamilton family, over the years have made wonderful contributions to the sport, which requires incredible dedication, committment and skill as an equestrian. Love and prayers to your family as you are embraced by God himself.
