Sammy Carson Obituary
78, Indianapolis, passed away July 26, 2015. An honorably discharged, disabled veteran he served in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed by Bryant Heating & Cooling until retiring due to his disability.
On Friday, July 31, there will be visitation from 4-8 p.m. On Saturday, August 1, there will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. with calling from 10-11 a.m. Services and Visitation will be at Stuart Mortuary Chapel with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia A. Carson; sons, Samuel Mark Carson, Sr. and Randy Carson; stepdaughter, Rev. Patti A. Holt (David); grandchildren, Ann Marie Brewer (Darryl), Tina Marie Rutherford, Samuel Mark Carson, IV, Congressman André Carson (Mariama Shaheed), JaDawn Annette Carson, Sherrie M. Cooper (Steve), Phillip Mark Carson, Jamie Christopher Carson, Barbara Carson and Stef'an Delano Carson; fourteen great grandchildren and sister, Mary Elizabeth Gray. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya Terese Carson, on October 28, 2011.
