Sarah Sherman Obituary

Sarah Lee Bannon Sherman 57 of Union, Kentucky, and formerly of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday April 14, 2011 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Sarah was born August 9, 1953 in Elwood, Indiana the daughter of Richard and Wilma (Legg) Bannon. She married Keith T. Sherman May 3, 1975, and he survives. Sarah was a 1971 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School in Elwood, Indiana and Indiana University, Bloomington, where she graduated as an English Major. Sarah was a homemaker and a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association and the Trinity United Methodist Church in Maysville, Kentucky She is survived by her husband, Dr. Keith Sherman of Union, Kentucky, sons Kyle (Carrie) Sherman of Augusta, Kentucky and Geoffrey Sherman of Indianapolis, Father Richard Bannon of Elwood, Sister Mary (Jack) Kinney of Indianapolis, and several Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Wilma Bannon. . Memorial services for Sarah will be Sunday April 17, 2011 at 3PM at the First United Methodist Church in Elwood, In with Pastor Chris Dare officiating. The Family will receive friends at the church from 2PM until the time of service. Memorials may be made in her name to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society or the American Cancer Society at the church or through Moore Funeral Homes, PO Box 243, Milan, Indiana 47031 (812)654-2141.
