Selma G. Earnest
98, of Rushville, passed away Oct. 24, 2012. Born in Franklin County on Apr. 13, 1914, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Wolber) Gesell. She graduated from Brookville High School in 1932 and Central Normal College in 1935. She taught in the Franklin County School System. She was the widow of the late Kenneth Earnest whom she married October 22, 1938. He died in 1995. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Rushville. Survivors include her sister, Alpha Jo Haffey and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Stephen; three brothers and six sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Oct. 29, 2012 in Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville with Pastor Mick Saunders officiating. Calling will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown. Memorials may be given to the donors charity of choice. Online condolences at: http://www.toddfuneralhome.com
