Travis F. Marsh

83, of Indianapolis, passed away June 20, 2016. He was born September 26, 1932 in Lafayette, TN to the late Almer and Jewell Doss Marsh. He was a resident of Perry Township and Treasure Island, FL. Travis served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked as an operations manager for Eastern Express. He later retired as a motel owner in Florida and was a member of the Beech Grove Masonic Lodge for 50 years.

Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St.

Travis was a great husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years who he always called "baby," Marie K. Marsh; sons, who he called "honey," D.R. Marsh, Keith Marsh (Laura Fishburn), Garth Marsh (Janet Byrd); brothers, James A. and Glen C. Marsh; and sister, Anna Ritz (John). He was preceded in death by his two sons, Travis Marsh, Jr., Trent Marsh; and two brothers, Raymond and Kermit Marsh.
