Wanda Milli Obituary
92, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 7, 2016. She was born on December 31, 1923 in Cave City, Arkansas.
Jean worked in Quality Control for 36 years at Eli Lilly, retiring in 1983. Jean loved flowers and gardening; was very active in the Parkinson's Association; was a senior care-taker for many of her friends; supported numerous charitable organizations; and was a member of Brookside Community Seniors Association.
Survivors include Jean's loving son, Harry (Carol) Milli; 4 grandchildren: Joseph (Abbey) Milli, Jason Milli, Jennifer (Stephen) Sims, and Christina (Jeffrey) McDonald; 4 great-grandchildren, Parker, Christian, Benjamin, and Matthew; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence J. Milli, of 52 years in 1997; brother, J.C. Rogers; and sister, Monnie Jo Metcalf.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN, with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Association, 6847 Hillsdale Court, Indianapolis, IN 46205. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ghherrmann.com.
