William J. Holden

Avon - William (Bill) Holden passed away on March 16, 2021. A private family gathering will take place at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home at 2950 N. High School Road in Indianapolis 46224.

Mr. Holden was born on May 5, 1949 in Worcester, MA. and lived in Grafton, MA. until 1990. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anne (Oksanish) Holden, two sons, Nicholas of Grafton, MA and his family, Ryan of Trinity, NC and his family and a daughter Stephanie (Holden) Hamood, wife of Jarrett Hamood and her family of Avon, IN. He leaves behind five grandchildren: Anya, Gavin, Hanna, Stella and Holden, as well several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Holden graduated from Grafton Memorial High School in 1967 and earned his Bachelor's degree from Worcester State University and his M.B.A. from Anna Maria College, both in Massachusetts. He served 6 years in the Massachusetts Air National Guard and was honorably discharged as an SSGT. In 1975.

Mr. Holden served in a number of senior management and executive positions in the industrial manufacturing and distribution industries located in Massachusetts, Illinois and Indiana from 1972 until his retirement in 2012. He was a long-time member of Twin Bridges Golf Club, located in Danville, IN. His remains will be returned to Massachusetts for interment.
