ABRAHAM LURIE Obituary
ABRAHAM AMOS, M.D., born May 29, 1927, died January 31, 2013 at his Bryn Mawr home. Dr. Lurie graduated from Univ. of Pa. Medical School in 1952, trained at University Hospital, and practiced anesthesiology at several hospitals, most recently Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA. His research interests were in pharmacology and anesthesiology. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Natalie Lief Lurie, two sons, Jonathan of Weston, Mass. and David of Newton, Mass., and five grandchildren. His son Richard died in 1994. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Civil Liberties Foundation.
