Dear Mrs. Corr & family,
I feel as though a great man has just entered Heaven. Everytime I saw Al on Al's dock, a little sparkle and smile came over me as he was ALWAYS upbeat and had a gift of conversing beautifully. He shall be missed down here in Florida--fishing off the dock or just enjoying the time spent here. How he loved his family.
Please accept my sympathy in your loss and may you all keep his spirit dear to your hearts. A special hug to his wife! My heart aches for you.

Dear Mrs. Corr and family,
I am so saddened to hear about your husband and father passing. He was a great man and to many a hero. He always treated me with such kindness, and as a kid that was so special. He was really special, I respected and admired him so much. I can remember him running up Cottman Avenue one time, when he was not on duty, to help put out a fire that had started on top of the St. Jude store. I followed him and wished I could be heroic like him one day. I can remember after coming home from the Navy for a visit, he told me how proud of me he was. That meant so much to me. I also remember when Mr. Corr and his beautiful wife Teresa made a special stop in Austin just to say "Hello," and he got to meet my son less than a year old. He will never know how both Mr. and Mrs. Corr impacted my life and really showed me that there was love and caring in this otherwise crazy world.
The world will be a lesser place without that great hugging hero who used to call me "his girl." He was the complete essence of what a good Dad was. He made me feel special and I will always feel gratitude and love when I think about Mr. Corr.
I am so sorry for your loss.
God bless the family and I will say a prayer and a thank you for all the years that Mr. Corr helped look over my mom and sister.
Sincerely,
Trish (Yocum) Morrison RN

Dear Aunt Theresa,
I will always remember Uncle Al tracking me down at Shop Rite to help him find the right thing he was sent for. He would always say "I can't take the wrong thing home to my wife!" It was my pleasure to help him and enjoy his humor. He would always take the time to ask how my family was doing. Then he would say "gotta get going, Aunt Theresa will have the cops out looking for me!" We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Aunt Teresa,
I have many fond memories of visiting you and Uncle Al on Cottman Avenue and trying not to be bitten by Buttons. Whenever you came to an event, I remember the loving hugs even if I hadn't seen you both in years. My condolences to the whole family and we send our love.
