ALBERT "BIG AL"
Age 102, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Feb. 13, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Lena (nee DiMaria). Devoted father of Louis (Lucille) Desiderio and Rita (William) D'Ambrosio, loving grandfather of Michael (Lisa) Desiderio, Eric D'Ambrosio, Stephanie (Frank) Baldino and the late Damon D'Ambrosio; also survived by 8 loving great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing and Funeral Thursday 9:00 A.M. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 11th and Jackson Sts. Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory to the National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia, 1166 S. Broad St., Phila. PA 19146 would be appreciated.

So many wonderful childhood memories on Hollywood Street with Uncle Al and Aunt Lena. I wish I could be there with you all tomorrow but I'm out of town right now. I know his brother, my Grandfather Ernie, wanted to live to be 100 too. My prayers and thoughts are with you all in this difficult time.
