HICKS ALEC, JR. 80, of Palm Beach, FL formerly of Bala Cynwyd, PA died on November 22, 2021. Alec grew up in Narberth, PA, graduating from Malvern Prep and Villanova University as well as earning an MBA from Michigan State University. He would remain close to both Malvern and Villanova for the rest of his life, especially enjoying the success of Villanova's basketball teams. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maureen and children Stephen, Kevin and Patricia. He was predeceased by son Shawn. Alec had a long career in the commercial real estate industry. When not at work, he was rarely at rest and could be found undertaking projects at his homes or those of his children. Over the years, he ran marathons, was active in the Boy Scouts of America, a Hobie Cat sailor in Avalon, NJ and car enthusiast. His Catholic faith remained important to him throughout his life and was an active parish member at St. Matthias in Bala Cynwyd, Maris Stella in Avalon, and St. Edwards in Palm Beach for the past 24 years.
