I'll miss seeing Jim cutting his grass, sitting on his side porch reading his book and most of all his friendly fatherly advice. My thoughts and prayers are with is family.

Jim was more than a neighbor, he was family! Jim and Dottie welcomed us to the neighborhood and were there to celebrate the births of two kids, holidays, birthdays and much more. The really special moments were when we shared a simple conversation on the side porch about a recent read, a current event, or just another ordinary event in our day. The love Dottie and Jim shared with each other and friends is what made them so special. We will miss him dearly, but know he is dancing with Dottie and taking care of a new lawn and garden and feels his healthy strong self once again.

Throughout life, you meet people who influence the way you present yourself. Jim was one of those people. He will be forever remebered for his bravery and wisdom. Thank you Jim for all of the guidance you ever given us.
