what is not mentioned (above) is Mom (Anne) spent many years away from the Main Line. For 3 years, in Richmond, VA, she lead our family with incurable positive spirit, all through this move, raising 3 rambunctious boys in a new neighborhood. Then suddenly, our family was again uprooted, this time to Chicago. Mom (with many searching trips) found a wonderful town to live in, with good schools and beautiful homes. And as always, an insatiable positive outlook. Then, Mom realized that our family would need a second income. Mom went back to school, got re-certified as a teacher (again while raising elementary and teenage boys all during this time-and (!) she also got straight "A's") then taught 7th grade English at grade school in our neighborhood for ten years (I always tell the story when she first started her hair was brown, by the end of the first year she was all gray!)...when the opportunity arose to return, and with her father (Paul) still in Philly, Mom got to come back to her beloved Main Line, where she was very lucky to meet the Clousers during her painful divorce. And then as fate would have it, Mom was able to marry into the wonderful Clouser family. Always an educator, she strongly believed that all children should be taught how to read and spell in the elementary years- and Mom loved teaching us all. In her memory hoping all will read to their children/ grandchildren to encourage learning, and plant something (I will plant a maple tree here for her)

Anne and I were members of the Garden Club of Bala Cynwyd. Together, with another member, we entered the Philadelphia Flower Show and did an exhibit. The three of us worked together for many months on this project. I enjoyed working with Anne. She was a kind soul.
