CAMPION-KRUC DR. ANTOINETTE J. 'TONI' 81, of Havertown, PA, died Saturday, April 24, 2021, at home surrounded by her daughter and granddaughters. Toni was born in Scranton, PA to Robert F. and Mary E. B. Campion. She is survived by 2 children from her first marriage, daughter Kathryn A. Betz, son David Kruc, Kathryn's husband Ray and their twin daughters Caitlin and Madeline. She was one of 12 children, surviving are 3 siblings William J. Campion, Renee T. Campion and Elizabeth F. Campion. Toni earned a B.S. of Pharmacy in 1961. She was Director of Pharmacy at Riddle Memorial Hospital from 1963 to 1973. She then earned a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated in 1977 and practiced family medicine until she retired with her second husband Dr. Paul J. Palmerio. Her greatest joy in life was spoiling her twin granddaughters. In keeping with respect to her final wishes, there will be no formal funeral service or burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her name to the Robert F. and Mary E. B. Campion Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Francis De Sales Church, 4625 Springfield Ave., Phila., PA 19143. Toni was a great person to know.She was a wealth of knowledge. Toni was caring generous,kind,willing to help you out when asked of her.
Toni was like a second mother to me. I will miss her.
Rest in Peace Toni.
