Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Kevin's life on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6 to 9 P.M. and Friday April 6, 2018 from 8:30 to 9:45 A.M. in THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 8401 WEST CHESTER PIKE (cor. LYNN BLVD.), UPPER DARBY PA, 610-449-0300. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 A.M. in St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Kevin's name may be made to Main Line Health Hospice, 240 N. Radnor-Chester Rd, Suite 100, Radnor, PA 19087.

The Delaware Valley lost a real treasure. Kevin was not only a wonderful musician but also a warm, pleasant and outgoing person. He brought lots of enjoyment and great ceili-set dancing to the many venues where he played. He and Pancho were quite a great team and they won't ever be forgotten.

I remember playing at the Ceilis at the Irish Center years ago with Mr. Kelly and when Kevin was there it was always livelier with his box playing. My condolences to his family. He was a kind and quiet man.

I only knew Kevin through music, but I always found that the depth of his knowledge of tunes was matched by the depth of his graciousness and patience for the rest of us. He always welcomed all and was a joy to know. My deep condolences to his family.

On behalf of the Trahey Family our sincere Condolence to all the Mc Gillian and Boyce Family a very Hard loss to our Irish Community Kevin was one of the Best Button Accordion Players I have have ever known and enjoyed playing tunes with him weather his house or Gig Ceili somewhere he knew a book of Tunes I have very Fond memories of him being able to Attend his induction to Irish Hall of Fame in New York with all the Great Players My wife and I RIP Regina was able to attend his Honor to being with my Patents many many years ago at Dutch Irish in the Northeast I too will always remember His style and Friendship all through my life and A great Honor to have known Him RIP Kevin May God be with you and may you shine on all of us Tim

I am grateful to have known this encouraging, embracing and talented musician who gave me a lot. He let me sit on stage and play bodhran with him; he rocked the box!!! He was always elegant and gracious, a gift to his community. The angels will dance a better polka now that he has arrived.

Dearest Kevin: In life you were abundantly quiet, loving, kindly, caring, sincere, inclusive, adoring husband to Mary, adored father to six magnificent children,16 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children, unofficial father to many and mentor to many more. Gosh, you will be missed - dreadfully. Our prayers, good energy and love go to your amazing family and huge circle of extended family and gazillions of friends. May your gentle soul rest in peace.
