BARBARA E. (nee Mitchell), Oct. 18, 2011. Wife of Melvyn; mother of Susan Silver and Eric R. (Heather) Breslow; sister of Harris Mitchell and Sheldon Mitchell; daughter of the late Jack and Pearl Mitchell; grand-mother of Lindsay Silver, Jordan Silver, Ryan Breslow, Ethan Breslow and Zachary Silver. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday, 11 A.M. precisely, GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at the late residence. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Madlyn Abramson Cancer Center, c/o Univ. of Penna. Hospital, 3400 Spruce St., Phila. PA 19104.

Mel,
I was so sorry to read this about Barbara passing. I lived next door to you on Shelley Road. I was 12 years old when we moved in. Now I am going to be 65 tomorrow! I am Linda and my parents were Lee and Dave. Mom's been gone since 92 and Dad since 2001. I live in Holland and actually looked you guys up a couple years ago. So sorry I did not follow up on making contact. I have wonderful memories of her and remember you and the kids very well.
