Ms.Blanche! You are sorely missed! Your spunkiness is jazzing up Heaven now right next to the Lord! You were MY FIRST NEIGHBOR and taught me the value of being an independent and strong woman as well as how to be a lady! The last time I saw you, you were hanging with your best friend,Ida,and you took the time to remind me of what I should become. Thank you, Ms. Blanche for being a part of my life!Sorrowfully submitted, Alisha M. Gattison, M.Ed.

I was so sorry to hear of Blanche's passing. She was a cousin of my cousin, Stella Burley Anderson, which is how I first met her. I always enjoyed chatting with Blanche when I saw her. We often spoke about La Mott and its history. She was instrumental in helping me create a scrapbook for my niece's graduation. I last saw her a couple of months ago. I really will miss her.

My deepest and sincere sympathy to David and family. Blanche had a smile, personality sense of humor and wisdom like no other. She was not only a friend but a mentor to many as myself during her years at Blue Cross and after. She will truly be missed. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen the family during this difficult time.
