Brendan was the first person I met when I got to the Philly VA. He was a mentor, teacher and even more just a terrific man. May you rest in peace, Brendan.

Brendan´s ability not to take himself (or other people) too seriously was a big advantage when working with him at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. His detached, yet always professional, approach was greatly appreciated by this former member of the group.

I have great memories of Brendan and he became my friend as soon as I meet him while working at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center in 2008. I worked closely with him until his retirement on a wide variety of simple and complex issues and always admired Brendan for his professionalism and his humanity. He will be missed.
