Carol was the best mother-in-law ever. She would help with little tidbits of wise information without being condescending or bossy with her grandchildren. I knew her most of my life and I always marveled at how she kept those five boys in line (Carol was pretty good). I was lucky to have married her wonderful son Thomas who has always been a respectful, kind and hard-working man (on our 34th year of marriage) and I give her all the credit. She never butted into anyone's business and or had any unkind words to say about anyone. She never wanted to be a burden to anyone and repeatedly said so. She missed her husband Tom terribly after his passing in 2011 and seemed lonely afterwards. She was truly a family woman and worked with children for over 16 years at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. She was known as either Mrs. P or the warden by the neighborhood kids but was always respected with high regard. She was the true embodiment of a perfect mother and I will love and miss her forever.

Carol, you will be missed by many. I know I sure miss seeing you out and about the neighborhood. I sure hope they have Burger King available in heaven.

Carol was one of the nicest, friendliest people I met. She's talking to God & St. Peter now. I know she will be missed here on earth. God rest her soul. Amen.
