Just came back from church at St Kevin's. it does not seem possible that God took you to his paradise a year ago today. It feels like an eternity since I felt your arm,kisses,saw a smile,heard your wonderful laugh and your sense of humor. I miss the things we did as a family and as a couple. You were the center of my world. Keep sending me courage to handle the pain I feel from missing you. You will be in my heart forever! I wish they had a phone in heaven to hear your voice.

It is one year today that God took you up to his home in the heavens. Knowing you are at peace makes me feel good but the pain inside my heart has not stopped. There r so very many things I miss, your smile,your laugh,your reading,your calls all day your hugs,gentleness,kindness and most of all your love. I was blessed the day you came into my life and will always be thankful. Till!!!love u forever!!

Cannot believe it is almost 6 months since I last saw that smiling,happy facing. I miss u more each day. I pray u r safe and happy and with all your family and friends who r with u above in God's house. You were and always will be the sunshine of my life. I only wish God gave us more times. Those last months were so tough and I know how much u suffered,I pray we all did our best to keep u comfortable. Not a day goes by without someone asking about u. Dear Pat; There are such found memories of you both when I was a young punk of 21, and hanging at the Clifton Inn. I will always remember both of your upbeat and happy personalities and the fun times we had there. Charlie was so kind and funny. He had the best laugh. I hadn't seen Charlie since the early '80's but remember well the jokes, stories and laughter that went on over a cold beer. Pat, I also knew and respected your dad Phil, as well. Two good guys who left their mark. RIP

Patti and family, Hots was one of the good guys. We all loved him and are so thankful for the times we had together. Hots fought a tough fight till the end. One of the bravest men I know. I remember Charlie as a very unique person, who wouldn't hesitate to help you no matter what.He was the great owner of the Clifton Inn and I spent many days there in the past, and Charlie would always put a smile on my face! He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing such a great human being, and I am sure his family too. My prayers are with the Mc Carthy family in their time of sorrow.
