Charles Packman Obituary

Packman Charles (Charlie) Died March 15, 2025 at the age of 75. He is mourned by his first cousins, Hedra Packman and Ira Packman, their families, the students he trained, and his devoted fitness clients who became his support group at the end of his life. He was born in Philadelphia, January 17, 1950, and attended Chestnut Hill Academy and Lafayette College where he played football. He coached and was a strength trainer for high school and college teams, and focused his strength/fitness/health system on preventing injuries. Charlie was the eastern PA Barbarian Chief in the Society for Creative Anachronisms gatherings, as well as volunteering at an animal shelter and studying native American cultures. Friends are welcome to Celebrate his Life on May 31, 2025, at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (the Exchange) at 1P.M. where we will toast him on the football field and share memories in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send your donation to the Main Line Animal Rescue, 1149 Pike Springs Rd., Chester Springs, PA 19425.

Charlie's been a cherished friend for almost 50 years when I first walked into Main Line Nautilus in 1977. Many a fun story! I will miss him. Prayers to his family and friends.
