David Alden Lewis

Lewis David Alden Age 81, passed away on December 9, 2025. David was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 22, 1944 to Myron Lewis and Jeanne (Adams) Lewis. David is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Schaffel Orman, children Craig David (Priscilla) Lewis and Tracy Lewis (Elliott) Nix, and his sisters Judith Hobson and Laura Lewis. David was blessed with five granddaughters: Harper, Georgia, Finley, Olivia, and Sophie. After graduating from Brentwood High School, near Pittsburgh, David earned a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1966. He founded D.A. Lewis Associates in Doylestown, PA in 1976, a company providing computer and mailing services to the direct marketing industry. He acquired CPC Associates, a list company, in 1992. The two companies operated successfully until they were sold in 2003 and in 2005. In his retirement, David spent winters in Bonita Springs, FL, summers in Philadelphia and focused on volunteering. David will be memorialized at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Penn's Village in Philadelphia or a charity of choice. (JACOB F. RUTH)
