David Costa Obituary
DAVID W., 82, of Mount Laurel NJ, formerly of Staten Island NY, died Sunday July 13, 2008, at the Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Unit in Mount Holly, NJ with his family by his side.
Mr. Costa honorably served his country in the US Navy during WW II. He was a graduate of Wagner College on Staten Island. Mr. Costa joined the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, (currently DEA) in 1951, serving in New York NY, Philadelphia PA, Rome Italy, Washington DC and Miami FL until his retirement in March 1978. He was a member of the Association of Former Federal Narcotics Agents and a long standing member of the Assumption Council K of C.
Mr. Costa is survived by his wife of 57 years Madeline (nee Balzarini); daughter, Patricia Kushina (Bill) of Medford NJ, and grandchildren, Kaitlin and David. He was preceded in death by a son, David. Viewings will be held on Thursday, July 17th, from 7 to 9 P.M. and on Friday, July 18th, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. both at MOUNT LAUREL HOME FOR FUNERALS, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel N.J. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Friday, 11 A.M., at Saint John Neumann R.C. Church, 560 Walton Ave. Mount Laurel. Interment will be Saturday, July 19th, 10 A.M., at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd., Staten Island. Memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 200 Marlton NJ 08053, or to a charity of your choice.

Madeline and family, My heart and prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow. I was saddened to hear of his lengthy illness and death. I remember our "client vs.convict" conversations and how you assisted me while Jim was in Boot Camp". I was so happy to see you at Jody's for a very happy anniversary event. Luv Ya, Lucinda
