GIVNISH OF ACADEMY RD., 10975 Academy Rd., Phila. and on Tuesday from 9 to 10 A.M. at Church of St. Anne, 2328 E. Lehigh Ave., Phila., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Doug's memory to the American Diabetes Associ-ation at www.diabetes.org would be appreciated.

I had the privilege of working with Doug in the First district. We worked the wagon together for about a year and I can honestly say there was no better partner than Doug. We kept in touch through the years and it won't be the same not hearing from my good buddy. To his wife Dawn and his two daughters I extend my deepest condolences. So sorry for the loss of a great man and former partner.
