Dear Jane:
Cindy and I were saddened to learn of the passing of your dear Gerry on November 28th. I know how much you two loved each other, so I can imagine how especially difficult losing him must feel.
The years with someone are never enough for those who loved a person. Both Cindy´s and my fathers died in 2001; Cindy's sister died in 2006; and both of our mothers died in 2005, so we have some idea of how sad and sorrowful you and your family must be feeling at this moment.
Gerry and you were at Fox Rothschild when I joined the firm, and both Gerry and you were welcoming and wonderful partners, colleagues and friends.
Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of Gerry; and, also, please convey our deepest sympathies to your other family members.
We hope that you and your loved ones find comfort in knowing that so many of your friends and colleagues, including your and Gerry's former Fox Rothschild partners, are thinking of you and them during your bereavement.
May Gerry´s memory be an abiding blessing to you and your family.

Jane,
I was also a member of the SJP Class of '59 and a good friend of Gerry's. My wife, Sabina, and I enjoyed many social activities with Gerry and his family in both Philly and Ocean City. He was a reall y good man and he will surely be missed. Please know that many people loved him and will miss him as well, and we share your grief.

The Donnelly Family,
Gerry was My Classmate at The Prep in Philadelphia. He also attended St. Joseph University before graduating from Villanova Law School. Gerry was intelligent, humble,and The Quintessential Gentleman. Preppers loved talking golf with Him since He was the best golfer in The 1959 Prep Class of excellent golfers.One day, he mentioned that His grandson had beaten Him on the links-possibly a scratch golfer. Preppers were blessed to have known Gerry-" May Gerry Donnelly Rest In Eternal Peace".
