EDITH HANNIGAN Obituary
EDITH A. (nee Paul), on May 4, 2016. Dear wife of Thomas F. Hannigan, beloved mother of Edward J. Mc Caney (Lynn), Kathleen McCaney, Edith Durkalec (Mark) and Heather Roush (Thomas). Edith was the wife of the late Edward J. McCaney. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Monday 10 A.M. THE WM. G. MALLOY FUNERAL HOME, 625 Byberry Rd. (east of Bustleton Ave.)., Phila., PA 19116 Funeral Service will begin at 12 Noon with Interment to follow in Hillside Cem. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis,TN 38105 in Edith's memory.

My regrets to the entire Mccaney family. I RECALL A day when I was watching my Granddaughter Emma and Edie offered to do some coloring with her, they did that for a couple hours. Emma still remembers that. She was a wonderful woman who fought a hard battle while still helping others,I will miss her.

Mary Ellen & Gary Are sending our Heartfelt Sympathy to your family at this difficult time. May your family have peace knowing she is no longer suffering and in pain. Always have all the great memories that you all shared with her .I will never forget the way she treated me the very first time I met her .She treated me as if she knew me forever , That was the first time I met her . At a Pool party I was invited to. Edie was a wonderful women a and a great friend. Edie has a very loving family that always been there not just for her for each other . Edie Rest In Peace .You are in GOD'S HANDS NOW.
