EDMUND BOCKOWSKI Obituary
Ed was a graduate of Kings College and St. Joseph's Univer-sity obtaining a Bachelor's of Science and a Master's Degree in Chemistry. Ed served in the U.S. Navy active and reserves from 1962-1967. In 1964, Ed joined Betz Laboratories as a chemist and had a rewarding career spanning more than 30 years before retiring in 1997.
Ed enjoyed many hobbies including golfing, gardening, coin collecting and travel. He was a quintessential Philadel-phia sports fan, loving the Phillies, Eagles, Sixers, Flyers and Big Five Basketball. Most of all, Ed enjoyed his family and friends.
In addition to his former wife, Patricia Cerminaro, he is survived by his children, Laura Bockowski of North Wales, Cynthia Hill of Doylestown and Patrick Gibson of Warrington. He is also survived by 4 grand-children, Kristin (McClinton) Lester, Marissa Gibson, Maria Gibson and Nicholas Gibson and one great grandson, Dominic Gibson, all of Warrington PA. Ed is also survived by siblings, Joseph Bockowski, Gerald Bockowski and Gloria Maturnich, all of Wilkes-Barre PA and a special friend and companion, Laura Ann Deluca of Fraser PA.
There will be a Memorial Service at THE WILLIAM R. MAY FUNERAL HOME, 142 N. Main St. (at Elm Ave.), North Wales PA 19454, on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 12 Noon. Friends and family may call after 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, etc., the family is requesting donations to Best Friends Animal Society.

I worked with Ed at Betz many years ago, and saw him regularly at the annual Longmore picnic. He was a great guy and will be missed. I offer our condolences to his family and friends.
