EDWARD HANEY Obituary
HANEYEDWARD J., suddenly June 8, 2016. A Korean War veteran. Son of the late James and Sara Haney; dear brother of the late James Jr., Gerard "Jed", Joseph, and Regina "Jean". He is survived by his loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; his brother-in-law, Frank Moyer and sister-in-law, Nancy Haney.
Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing on Tuesday, 9 to 10:30 A.M., BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (So. of Grant Ave.), followed by his Funeral Mass, 11 A.M., St. Katherine of Siena Church. Int. St. Dominic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

Ed was a neighbor and I always enjoyed our chats whenever I passed his house and he was outside. My Mom was born in 1914 and lived across the street and I remember her mentioning the Haney name. RIP Ed.
