She was a remarkable woman. Her greatest legacy was molding generations of young nurses holding them to the highest standards. Her presence on a nursing unit in her immaculately starched white uniform could strike fear and trepidation in the hearts of nursing students who would rush to wash their hands. Years after I graduated I encountered her in an ER I was working in. I laughed and told her the nightmare had come true.. she was to be cared for by one of her students. She assured me with a smile nd a twinkle in those incredible blue eyes.. that when she was done with you as a student you could care for any one. I'm sure she and Florence are trading stories.

I believe Eleanor was my Nursing instructor at Lankenau Hospital. She made me the nurse I am today. She was a wonderful role model and so in love with her Charlie. Please accept my sympathy
