ELENA R. O'BRIEN

O'BRIEN ELENA R. Of Upper Gwynedd, PA. died Nov. 2, 2025. She was 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. O'Brien, Jr. She was daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Santulli) Santoliquito, mother to Maria Miller (Clark), Christina Russell (Jeffrey) and pre-deceased by her son Thomas J. O'Brien, her brother Joseph, sister Anna and brother Robert. She was adored by her 8 grandchildren: Alex, Angelina, Ethan, Jacob, Athena, Brynn, Ava and Andrew. Elena grew up in South Philadelphia, was a member of the first graduating class of St. Maria Goretti High School and worked for Jerrold Electronics. She was a devoted wife to Tom for 38 years and dedicated stay-at-home mother raising her three children, always with love and support. Her greatest joy in life was being with family. Elena loved a party, hosting family dinners, dancing, reading the daily newspaper, making homemade spaghetti, meatballs and pizzelles, enjoying a good martini and vacationing with her family in Avalon, NJ. She suffered through some of life's hardest times with grace and humor and will truly be missed. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Helena Church, 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA. The Viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at THE EMIL J. CIAVARELLI FUNERAL HOMES, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at St. Helena Church. Interment will be in Doylestown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Elena's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association,www.alz.org or to St. Helena Church, Blue Bell, PA.
