Michele,
All my Love and Deepest Sympathy.
Can you imagine the party that is going on up there (heaven) with all the (BLACK FAMILY) together with a new member. I know they celebrate with the angels when another family member arrives. I bet Aunt Bonnie is the gate keeper. How I miss them all. Your Mom will be fine she is with my Mom. Having a beer or two.
Your the best,
I will miss my Aunt Liz,
All my Love forever,

How lucky we are to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
I know , another day, we will sit again and exchange stories. Thank you for your support, and gentle love you extended to Joseph, his only Nan. Thank you for the smiles, laughs, wisdom and tears you shared with me. Rest in peace Liz. Pray for each and every one of us. Job well done.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My Mommy, my best friend, my heart
In one's life one could only hope for unconditional love. Mom, you gave it and it was greatly received.
I've always identified strongly with St Paul's letter to the Corinthians (13:1-13)
"Now I will show you the way which surpasses all the others.
If I speak in human and angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.
And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.
If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing; if tongues, they will cease; if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing.
For we know partially and we prophesy partially,
but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things.
At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. At present I know partially; then I shall know fully, as I am fully known.
So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
At this moment, I realized it was always about you....
I know He kissed your forehead, cradled you in his arms and He carried you to heaven where all pure love and light dwells.
Give Grandmom a kiss for me and please watch over us.
Hugs and kisses from your daughter,

Mommy & Daddy
