I enjoyed working with Gene at Lockheed Martin in the 1990's. He was one of the smartest guys on the team! I recall he called me "Mr. Kline" which is a funny memory. I'm sure he'll be missed by many and especially his family.

I am so very sorry to hear about Gene's passing. I worked with him for several years at Lockheed Martin. He was one of the smartest people i knew, but more than that, he was a kind and caring person. In those days, I often planned the wedding/baby showers, going away luncheons, and Holiday giving for our group and any time i sent an email out - Gene was always the first at my desk with a generous contribution. He was a very sweet but quiet guy - many did not know this about him, because he would quietly come over to contribute.
