We were so sad to hear of Dr. Mele's passing. He saved my Dad's life back in 1994 when my Dad had cancer. They have kept in touch at Christmas time with a card and a personal note to my Dad and Mom. We just heard of his death today when we visited another doctor in Philadelphia. Our deepest sympathy to his family; he was a great doctor and a wonderful man.
Sincerely, Nancy Segro, daughter of Pasquale and Flavia Litrenta.

I only met Dr. Mele twice through Rich. He was a warm and kind man who I was honored to have met, cook for, and help repair a part deck. He had made quite wonderful difference in this world and all should be proud of that. Celebrate his life to the fullest.

I feel very blessed to have known this wonderful and compassionate man. No one will ever know how many lives he touched and saved. He was a skilled surgeon and such a caring human being. On a personal note, he gave my beloved Grandmother many more quality years together with our family. How do you say "Thank You" for that? Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that his memory is one that will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him. Marge, you and your family are in my prayers. May God Bless you all and keep you in his care.

I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Dr. Mele, but we shared a birthday. Peggy was so happy that her beloved dad made that milestone. I don't know your family, except for Peggy, but he and Mrs. Mele certainly raised a caring, wonderful daughter.

My condolences and prayers go out to you all. I remember from a small child how kind, thoughtful, funny and caring Dr. Mele was. Being a childhood friend of my Dad's to life long friends to both of my parents. I could never have thanked him enough for all he did through the years whether it be as a Doctor or as a friend. I know how hard this is for all of you so my thoughts, love and prayers are with you Marge, Frankie, Patty, Tommy, Richard and Peggy.

My prayers and condolences go out to you, Aunt Margie, and to Frankie, Patty, Tommy, Richard, and Peggy. I cannot even imagine the pain and loss you are feeling right now. Uncle Frank was the best...what a sense of humor...always made us all laugh! And what a smart man and so talented in many ways. He was so thoughtful, generous, helpful and concerned for me during my recent quest to figure out what was wrong with me--even though he was going through his own (and much more serious) health problem. He will be so very missed. I have no idea how my parents and how Aunt Frannie and Uncle Anthony are going to deal with the loss of their best friend. I still cannot believe he is really gone. Love always to all of you. Love, Linda (Cane) Gibson
