FREDERICK A. "FRED" ABBONIZIO

ABBONIZIO FREDERICK A. "FRED" Of Newtown, PA, was called home to our Lord on September 21, 2025. Fred was born in North Philadelphia on July 27, 1935. Fred graduated from Abington High School in 1954. He attended La Salle University (formerly La Salle College) and graduated in 1966 with a degree in Business Administration. After 30 years of dedicated service, he retired from Alfa Laval (formerly Pennwalt Corporation). He is survived by his love, Gail Brittingham, his 5 children, Michelle Gooderham (Miles), Fred Jr. (Joan), Michael Sr. (Donna), Dennis (Debbie), Stephanie Rawlings (Mark), 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 24th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 919 Tennis Avenue, Maple Glen, PA 19002. Relatives and friends are invited to greet Fred's family at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. His interment will take place immediately following the Service in the Memorial Garden at St. Matthew's.
