We all obviously have a lot of great memories. The one thing that is obvious is that Grandpop clearly touched many people. Although his body is no longer among us it is clear that he will be with us all in our hearts & memories forever. We love you Grandpop!

For Dad:
Just the other day, I found myself remembering all those Christmas Days when I would wait in anticipation to hear that special story from you that brought joy and light into my heart. It never changed, and it was always the brightest moment of my holiday season. You would be sitting in your recliner with a smile, and this is what you told me:
"You know, Jul, this is the longest day of the year. From this day until Spring, each day will get just a tiny bit longer, and there will be more daylight each day." And then you would give me your little chuckle, as you continued, "Spring is just around the corner now!"
I was always so happy to hear these words, and over the past few years I had to wait just a tad bit longer to hear, but you always remembered, even though I helped a tiny bit with the words last Christmas, you remembered.
So now, dear family and friends, this is my gift to you; to help you through the long cold winter, and bring you the light and warmth of spring. We have just passed the longest night of the year. Spring is just around the corner.
Thanks Dad. I love you! Julie

Its been a very long time. I am sorry to hear that Mr. Paster had moved on. I still remember the fun we had camping at Rosemount Campground. And how I thought that you dad was the founder of the Boy Scouts. And all the Christmas Eves that our family spent with yours. God Bless You. You will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Paster and Family, Just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. Paster always welcomed me into his home like i was one of his own, we would talk about how the Phillies were doing or ask me how my family was doing. I guess there will be a new Post commander up in heaven now. Rest well Mr. Paster and God Bless You. Love, Johnny
