I met George in the Fall of 1959. We were teammates on the Temple Freshmen Football team. I always enjoyed his company and he always talked up his Frankford High School. I left Temple after my Freshman year but sat with him at a dinner honoring Coach George Makris in the late 60s. Rest In Peace, George - it was my pleasure to know you.

Dear Betsy and family:
My wife Edith (Scholtz) and I want to send our sincerest condolences. I went to Hackett School and Penn Treaty. Jr. High with George.
He was a really nice guy and I am sure he will be missed by many.
God Bless you all and take care.
Love, Edith & Harry Gordon
