SR. MARIA AUXILIA, I.H.M., GERTRUDE SULLIVAN, 80 of Immaculata PA, died April 7, 2008. In addition to her Religious Community, she is survived by a sister, Mary Levis and many loving nieces and nephews. Religious, relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 11 A.M., on Thursday, April 10, 2008, Camilla Hall, Immaculata PA. Visitation from 8:30 to 10:45 A.M., on Thursday. Interment Immaculata Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Camilla Hall Nursing Home, Immaculata PA 19345.

Sr. Auxillia will be missed by me and all of my family. Sr. used to babysit us when our parents were on vacation, she used to have this wonderful "bribe bag" of pranks to get us to cooperate. I'm not sure why she even bothered with the bribes, we would do whatever she said. But the prank "nail through the finger" was a real crowd pleaser! Please be an advocate up there for your brother????/friend Big Ed.

Dear Mary,
I am Elaine, Sister Mary Anne Townsend's youngest sister, and I want to extend to you and your family our deepest sympathy on the loss of your sister. Sisters are very special and I witnessed the sadness dear Gert experienced when our sister passed away in July of last year. My heart was breaking for her as she said her last good bye. Our families go way back and thankfully they are both are at peace now and together and will not suffer further. For this we can be thankful and truly blessed.

Sister Gertrude was indeed a very special person. Mary and family, although you never met John and Eleanor Tate, she was their best friend and angel. She always brought a smile to my Dad's face and gave my Mom hope every single day as they spoke each day. God bless wonderful, devoted Gertrude. She will always be a blessing in the Tate family lives.

Sr. Gert was my "aunt". Although we were not blood related, she is as much a member of my family as my other aunts. She gave me her car when I turned 16. I will never forget her laughter and love of all of my family. We will miss her very much.
