Denise, Mom and I will always remember Greg fondly. His kindness and love for his family and others was what made him so genuine. Mom´s favorite memory is that she and Greg called themselves "The Choir Groupies"... Always there across from you and my DadDenise, Greg will live on because he is still an Angel to many of us who were blessed to know him. We think of you and will continue to keep you all in our hearts and prayers. xo Ann and Angela

my entire family knew him well throughout High School in college. I knew him best in those days as an extraordinarily intelligent fellow and a truly gifted speaker, since we were all involved in forensics. and I know he brought those skills to everything he did, especially his law practice and later his abilities to communicate so well with everyone whom he met. when I had the occasion to speak with him at some length less than a year before he died at a reunion event, I was struck by how he had put together such a beautiful life, balance among work and friendship and family. he was struck down at the very peak of his life, and the tragedy for his friends and the countless colleagues, Neighbors, and others who need touched is incalculable. Canon should do is to remember his example and strive better to live by it. my heart goes out above all, of course, to his family, For Whom the loss is by far the deepest, and certainly never far from their immediate consciousness.
most sincerely John Rodden

Dear Denise - I still have a tough time believing I won't see him around - Philly, NYC or Lafayette Hill. He was definitely plucked from us, our community, our planet - but I believe that he will still help us with whatever we ask of him. We all pray "that in giving we receive" Greg was "a giver" not a taker and I feel blessed to have known him. "a life well lived." Love - Paul

Dear Nowak family. It is with a heavy heart to hear such sad news of Greg. We met when I became president of Plymouth Soccer League/Club when Greg offered his services to us. He was instrumental in helping get the club on the straight and narrow and suggested we change the name of the club so we could break free of all old debts and ties. He was a friend first. I remember the day he handed me an autographed book he wrote on hedge funds, he asked me if I knew anything about them, I aid as much as I know the law. He laughed and told me he'd help me anyway he could. For the next three years we relied on him and his advice as club council. I even met him for lunch at Pepper Hamilton for club advice and he paid for lunch, there we sat a gentlemen in a suit and a dirty Ironworker. He never batted an eye. I was the one who was embarrassed.
I am so, so sorry for your loss. I am a truly better man for having known him.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.
It means so, so, so very much to me and our children.
Please know that I feel comfort knowing that he will live on forever in all of our memories.
How lucky were we to have the privilege of having his bright light in our lives. His keen mind and wit. His love of life and his hearty laughter. His generous spirit.
Drink a toast to Greg. He would like that.
I have always been keenly aware that I just had the happy luck of having him be in love with me, but he was the man he was because of the parents that raised him - Joseph & Mary Nowak. Please keep his mom and sister
Vicki in your prayers.
Sometimes in our busy hustle of day-to-day we take each other for granted – that is normal. But maybe for just a moment take the time to tell the ones you love that you love them and embrace them.
God bless and thank you for continuing to hold us in your thoughts and prayers. It means so very much.
Love, Denise

Denise:
I worked we Greg for many years and I remember that day this you fresh attorney joined our firm's tax department. He had an energy and drive for perfection which matched my own. From then on we worked well together I as the firms tax manager and Greg becoming a partner. He always had the most challenging client tax issues that made the practice a rewarding one. He and I were on the same page and always sought out the best results for the client. I recall siting in his office late on nights trying to find the best solution for the clients issues. I remember siting in his office late one particular night addressing a tax issue for a client who lived in Malibu on a conference call. Little did we know she was actually walking on the beach in 70 degree weather while it was cold and rainy here. I was getting nervous as it was getting very and late and close to my last train home. We finally got her off the call and agreed we would have an answer the next day. Such was life working with Greg and I loved every moment. This was reflected in all the comments made today at his funeral. I am so sorry I was unable to attend in person but thank God we have live stream today.
I am truly sorry for your loss. You both have wonderful children who I remember running around the office like little munchkins not so long ago.
God Bless you and your family.

My sincere condolences to the Nowak family. I only recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with Greg. In that short time I could see that he was an excellent lawyer with an incredible depth of knowledge in the financial services industry. But beyond that, I could see that he was a warm and patient human being. Again, I extend my deepest sympathies to the family and his coworkers.

Our heartfelt condolences to Denise and the kids. Greg was a very, very special person, kind, funny, and extremely smart, and if you think of it, he was in his own class.
He always took time to talk about work, business, politics, the world. He was never just about himself, he really cared about his family, and other people in general.
It is a tragedy in deed that he is no longer among us but it would have been more of one if he had never lived. My life has been enriched because I had the pleasure to work with him.
Greg will continue to be with us in our hearts and memories when we think about all the fun (and enlightening) encounters with him over the years.
As much as we enjoyed his company, he also loved being around people, may that be friends, clients, or colleagues.
His time with us was too short but I feel he made the most of it .. a thought that consoles me at least a little bit.
