To the family of Hardy Williams: I am a former neighbor of the Senator’s brother, James Williams, who lived in Southwest Philadelphia many years ago.
I remember when Mr. Williams ran for mayor of the city of Philadelphia; he wanted to make so many positive changes for the residents of the city. Although he never became mayor, he still worked for many years in public service.
When I heard of his passing, it brought back a flood of memories from days gone by and so I just had to write and extend my condolences to the entire Williams family. I am so very sorry for your loss.
May you find comfort, hope and strength in the scriptural truths and promises found in God’s Word; knowing that death has never been God’s purpose for mankind. (Romans 5:12) Rather, Jehovah God and his Son have promised that they will one day bring death and all causes of human suffering to an end. (1Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4) We are assured that by means of God’s Kingdom, for which many of us pray and of which Christ rules as king; our dear loved ones who are asleep in death will be resurrected – literally awakened back to life on a paradise earth! (Matthew 6:10; 1Corinthians 15:25; Acts 24:15; John 6:40; Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:11, 29)
Sorrowfully submitted, your neighbor and friend,
EARL ADAMS II

Williams' family;
My prayers are with you and your family. Senator Hardy was an inspiration to many and a wealth of knowledge. He imparted so much of his wisdom and experience into my sons life. He truely gave back to his communtiy. Not only the City of Philadelphia but the entire national political family has lost a great icon.

To the Williams Family: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Hardy Williams. He was a great friend and mentor. I was one of the secretaries in his law office back in the 60's. What a time we had. I thank him for my introduction to politics and for his unswerving desire to better his fellowman. May he rest in peace.

What a wonderful man. Hardy was great to work for. Back in the 60's I was one of his secretaries at his law firm before he turned his focus totally to politics. I learned so much from him as he introduced me to the world of politics. So sorry we didn't keep in touch. May he rest in peace as he goes from his labor to reward.

To the Williams' Family:
Let me first express my sincere condolences on the loss of the Williams' Family patriarch. He was indeed a good friend and mentor to many, especially in the small business community. He helped many small businesses get started and stay in business, and I count myself as among the many blossoming flowers in his vineyard.
You all will be in my prayers.
