I miss you everyday. Every time I look at a piece of jewelry Harris had done for me my heart breaks again. I know God place us in each others lives for a reason and it was for me to meet the kindest man and a great friend. This world is so crazy and I am glad you are not here to see this crazness. I will always miss my friend Harris.

I first met Harris when I worked at Corestates Bank so of course that was many moons ago. Everytime we had a birthday or retirement party from the Bank I would stop by the store to purchase something because I loved jewelry that is the only gift I wanted to give out. Over the years I got to know Harris and I started designing my own pieces for my daughter as well as myself and he was ever so good to us. I would order something and he would hold it forever for me. Harris treated everyone the same didn't matter to him if you were rich or poor. I remembered when I got laid off by the bank after 23 years of service so at first I would go to his store everyday and talk to him as well as try on rings and bracelets. After about a month Harris said Coletta do you want a job here now I can't pay you much but I will hire you, I said Harris I would never take a pay home I would be working to pay off my jewelry...Harris loved his family and always talked about them as well as showed photos of them. I just found out about him passing two days ago and my heart is broke, he was a great person, man, husband, father and friend. I will never forget him....Harris God took another one of his great children. I love you...Rest in Peace......Coletta and Latasha

Peace be with you Harris! Harris loved his family more than anything, always sharing the photos and updates. I first met Harris at 19 and through the years he became a friend and then ever the more like a brother to me. He cared about "you" and would always go the extra mile for you. I am blessed to have known the kind, gentle, caring, sincere, honest man.

My love is with you - rest in peace and may eternal happiness come upon.

Met Harris on the sacred grounds of Solis-Cohen Elementary school in Philadelphia around 1972. We didn't know that we had mutual friends at the time, but you couldn't live in NE Philly at that time, and not be connected to everybody in some way.

Somehow our parents became friends, and our siblings, again in this small community. As we grew older, every major event was usually accompanied by a visit to his store...one which we watched move around the block a little bit on and off of Jeweler's row.

Harris was always upbeat, always friendly, always loving. Would give an update on Cheryl and her latest work "adventures"...he would brag about Drew and Alexa, we would share photos.

My kids loved the trip into the "big" city from suburbia where we now lived.

I loved him, and I miss him. I'm still in denial. Peace be with you Harris, peace be with you./Steven
